(STATS) - What does Brown do for the New England Patriots?

Help spring another Super Bowl win.

Fullback James Develin helped pave the way for Sony Michel's go-ahead touchdown run in the fourth quarter as the New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII Sunday night.

Develin, the Brown University graduate, became the first former Ivy League player to win three Super Bowls.

He was one of a handful of former FCS players on the roster of the world champions. Also, there was rookie cornerback Keion Crossan (Western Carolina), defensive lineman Keionta Davis (Chattanooga), wide receiver Chris Hogan (Monmouth), linebacker Ramon Humber (North Dakota State) and Derek Rivers (Youngstown State).Offensive lineman Ulrick John, whose first three seasons at Georgia State were on the FCS level, was on injured reserve and rookie wide receiver Damoun Patterson (Youngstown State) a member of the practice squad.

Among the Patriots' coaches who played at FCS schools, running backs coach Ivan Fears played the position at William & Mary, defensive line coach Brendan Daly played collegiately at Drake and assistant strength and conditioning coach Deron Mayo was a defensive lineman at Hofstra and Old Dominion.
