Former FCS players set for Super Bowl LIII

(STATS) - If the FCS season wasn't super enough, how about some former FCS players capping off all the action in Super Bowl LIII.

Members of the AFC champion New England Patriots and NFC champion Los Angeles Rams hope to play major roles in football's biggest game on Feb. 3 at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Patriots, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs 37-31 in overtime on Sunday, have familiar FCS names on their roster, including defensive lineman Keionta Davis (Chattanooga), fullback James Develin (Brown), wide receiver Chris Hogan (Monmouth), linebacker Ramon Humber (North Dakota State) and Derek Rivers (Youngstown State) plus rookie cornerback Keion Crossan (Western Carolina).
